"My papier máché vessels start with found packing materials — things that have already passed through someone else’s hands and were likely on their way to being forgotten.
I like working with paper as my main material because it lets me gather up all these bits of life — wrappings, cardboard, everyday fragments — and give them a new kind of attention. These small, often overlooked things become the quiet foundation of my practice, which is really about reuse, noticing, and taking time with what’s already here." Poppy Ellis
