Having originally studied Sculpture in Brighton, Dan Ainsworth has spent the last 25 years in the art, design and fashion industry.

His artwork is always a mix of mediums often using found and repurposed materials. Dan’s sculptures are based on a play and dance of shapes and their interaction with one another.

"I like how shape and composition can feel inexplicably right or wrong, comfortable or uncomfortable and how they inform one another. In particular I like the relation to form and shape to the body and how we automatically see the literal and physiological characters in everyday objects"
