Linda Lencovic
HASTINGS, ENGLAND
Linda Lencovic is an artist who currently lives and works in England. She studied art at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design and completed a Master's degree in painting at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2006.
Linda has exhibited her work internationally and has pieces in collections in the UK and other countries. She has exhibited in group shows at the Tate Modern, Whitechapel Gallery, Freud Museum in London, and Garboushian Gallery in Los Angeles.
Her artwork explores themes of identity, race, and cultural belonging. She is particularly interested in moments of transition, where boundaries become blurred and identities change. Through her art, Linda aims to show how identity is fluid and the human mind is vulnerable. Her work also reflects the relationship between individuals and society, encouraging viewers to think about their own place in a complex world.
