BRACT I & II

A sculptural artwork by Dan Ainsworth and Marcus Crane

In collaboration with interior designer Martin Hulbert, Dan and Marcus created a bold new sculptural installation for the Woven Restaurant at Coworth Park.

Their idea for this large-scale sculptural piece manifested from repurposed materials and textures such as brass, wood and plaster. Suspended from a custom steel frame made by creative metal worker John Rak, it draws inspiration from mid-20th century aesthetics, using iconic forms and botanical motifs.

Dan and Marcus often collaborate on special projects and originate from a background in art and design, bringing together over 20 years of experience to their work, which includes painting, sculpture, jewelry making, interior design, and installations.
